Fountain for the World-Puebla, Mexico
Fountain For the World and Pastors Phil and Judy Jaquith now have campuses reaching out to thousands of individuals in Puebla and Veracruz, a city on the Gulf Coast of Mexico. This campus opened in 2008 and is in addition to the growing Puebla church.
The Jaquith family serves as a team in this local church, which includes sons and daughters and grandchildren. Each has done everything from stepping into pastoral roles, to leading worship, to helping with the growing needs for space and buildings.
The need grows as more Mexican citizens come to Fountain for the World every Sunday. As part of the miraculous work God is doing in Mexico, He has provided funds for the church to keep up with growing number of members and make upgrades to their facilities. "God does amazing miracles to extend his kingdom in the middle of what the world calls a crisis," Phil Jaquith said. They were able to remodel an existing building to provide enough seating for Mexicans who are hungry for the Lord.
In 2009, a team of Harvest International Training Center students went to Puebla to serve in Fountain for the World and surrounding mountain villages. Fountain for the World now has a growing and thriving church with over 2000 members, around 240 small groups, and multiple church plants in other cities. They are putting more and more time into their outreach churches and other churches that have come under their MFI covering.
