A Word from Kari…
My heart in the worship of this house is to lift the high praises to the Lord who is worthy of all of our strength, talent, and energy. I believe in honoring the Lord by worshipping out of a life that is consecrated and enthusiastic about this wonderful, undeserved relationship! We sing and play for an audience of One. To everyone else, we demonstrate “how” to worship and inspire them through exhortation, systematic teaching, and example.
My vision is limitless because my God is limitless!
- I want to develop a worldwide training center to revive the arts to the purpose God created them. My heart is to be able to train a musician from scratch; to not have to send an individual to learn techniques and songs that will not profit them in the church world. I want every musician and technician to have at least a well rounded but basic grasp of music. I also have a vision to see them excel to any level they choose, and develop new curriculum and new ways of training the next generation. Some may start schools in other nations. Some may change the marred reputation of “Christian music,” some may take over Hollywood and create films that will fill a nation with hunger for righteousness. How Big is your God?
- I want to create CDs that will capture the hearts of a drifting generation and set them on fire like we have never heard of in history. “What if the armies of the Lord, picked up and dusted off their swords…?” Casting Crowns
- I want to develop a team of excellent and consecrated musicians as in the Tabernacle of David.
- I want to create a new sound in worship, without losing the great depths and rich lyrics of past generations.
- I want to build upon, not throw away, the rich heritage we have in understanding worship. I want to develop many bands and worship teams that can minister at Encounters, city events, and abroad.
- I want to be known in the streets of many cities! My burden is for the persuasive power of the arts to be used, by consecrated vessels, in street evangelism and soul winning.
