Steps to Becoming a Christian…

We pray that you enjoy your time with us.  There is one thing that we want to be sure that you know about God’s plan of salvation.  If you are unsure of where you will go when you die, please listen to what God has to say in His Word.

FIRST… GOD LOVES YOU PERSONALLY!

John 3:16  “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
Jeremiah 31:1a  “…I have loved you with an everlasting love; Therefore with loving kindness I have drawn you.”

SECOND… GOD IS HOLY BUT WE ARE NOT!

We have a sin problem that separates us from God.
Romans 3:23 “ For all have sinned and come short of the Glory of God.”
Ecclesiastes 7:20  “For there is not a man upon the earth who continually does good and never sins.”

THIRD…JESUS IS THE ONLY WAY TO GOD THE FATHER!

John 14:6  “Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life.  No one comes to the Father except through Me.”

FOURTH…YOU MUST ASK JESUS TO FORGIVE YOUR SINS!

1 John 1:9  “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”

FIFTH…YOU MUST INVITE JESUS INTO YOUR LIFE!

Revelation 3:20  “Behold, I stand at the door and knock.  If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come into him and dine with him, and he with Me.”

Romans 10:10a  “…with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.”

At the conclusion of our services, opportunity is usually given for individuals to receive Jesus as their personal Lord and Savior.  Jesus said, “Therefore who confess Me (as their Lord and Savior) before men, I will also confess him before My Father who is in heaven” (Matthew 10:32).

If opportunity is not given at the conclusion of the service, or for whatever reason you did not get a chance to do so, we invite you now to receive the Lord Jesus Christ.  Upon doing so, you will become a child of God forever.  “As many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become the children of God” (John 1:12).

PRAY THIS PRAYER and mean it with all your heart:
Dear Lord Jesus, I now realize I am a sinner.  I accept the fact that you died for me on the cross.  I now open my heart’s door and receive you as Savior and Lord of my life.  I repent and turn away from my sinful ways.  I now turn over control of my life to your love and your direction.  In Jesus’ name Amen.
