It is our desire that the Lord would plant you as it pleases Him! We believe God has given each church, and the people within it, a specific "assignment." Our main purpose at Church of the Harvest is to raise up a people that will take God's Word into our communities and change our valley one life at a time using effective evangelism and discipleship tools acquired through small groups and training programs.

For upward growth (Membership Track), it is important to:
- Get involved in a small group
- Attend Pre-Encounter class
- Attend a weekend Encounter

- Enroll in “Driven by Eternity”
- Attend “Core Values”
- Become a member
The following information should help to clarify what Chuch of the Harvest is doing to carry out our “assignment.” Please feel free to ask any questions, as they arise, to a pastor or small group leader.
Small Groups
Church of the Harvest has developed small groups. The purpose of every small group is to build relationships learning and growing with specific goals:
- To establish friendships and strengthen relationships with others who desire to continually grow in Christ’s character.
- To win the lost and disciple them through the Word and relationships that have been built within the small groups.
- To encourage each member to grow in influence, resulting in their personal care of others.
Small groups meet weekly at various times and locations. To get involved, talk with someone at church or call the church office (345-0981).
Encounters
This personal retreat time will restore your focus and vision. You will encounter the Lord in a fresh relevant way. These weekend encounters are held twice a year.
Training
“Strengthening My Steps” is a 12-week course offered to those who have attended an Encounter. This class will help you understand the personal values that Church of the Harvest holds dear. This class will strengthen you with practical application of the applied Gospel.
“Driven by Eternity” is a 12-week course which is taught using the John Bevere DVD series. It is designed to reveal an eternal perspective and to motivate us to labor for what endures.
“Core Values” is a 12-week session which teach the Core Values of Church of the Harvest..
Small Group Training
You may enroll in Small Group Leadership Training after successfully completing the Membership Track. This 12-week course equips you to become an effective leader in the church and community. It consists of personal commitment, regular attendance and homework. The class is geared toward character transformation and a deeper spiritual growth.
