Nursery—The passion of our nursery ministry is to care for babies and provide a safe, loving and nurturing environment. This frees parents to attend services and grow in their relationship with the Lord. Our focus is to provide a loving atmosphere while teaching Bible stories, songs and games encouraging Christ-centered growth in the children. Our nursery is grouped into 3 age areas, newborn—9 months, 10—18 months and 19—27 months. Raz and Christy Lopez serve as our nursery coordinators.
Preschool Co-op--(Little Lambs, Busy Bears and Kindergarten Kingdom)—We take our ministry to the preschoolers very seriously. Not only are they the next generation, we know they can be used by God now. We focus on loving the Lord, His church, His Word and loving people. We want our children to know how much God Loves them and others. We teach our little ones to be worshipers, have faith for miracles, and not only believe His Word, but apply it to their lives. We offer a safe, fun place to worship, play, do crafts, and be involved in learning centers and activities geared towards your child’s age and development. Our teachers are trained loving workers who are dedicated to teaching your child about God and His Word. Debi Zedwick is our Preschool Coordinator, Katherine Galway is our Kindergarten Kingdom (K5) Supervisor; Jason and Andrea Sills are the Busy Bears Supervisors (38 months - Pre K (K4)); Little Lambs is supervised by Marty and Jodi Miller (28 months – 38 months).
Another aspect of our preschool ministry is King’s Kids. This ministry is designed to help children with special needs come and enjoy a rewarding, Christ-centered experience at church. We offer a wide range of opportunities including one-on-one class assistants for children with behavioral issues, developmental delays or physical disabilities. We also have a separate, modified class environment for those unable to participate in some or all of the general classroom activities. Our goal is to help all children experience the love of Jesus and enable them to grow in knowledge of the Bible and its life changing power, based on their God given, unlimited potential. Melissa Coto is our King’s Kids Supervisor.
Metropolis— Metropolis is for all kids, First through Fourth grades. Metropolis, the City of God, is where kids come and enjoy an exciting time of learning and fun. During a dynamic Metropolis service your kids enjoy a live worship service, puppet skits, adventurous stories and more. Practical topics such as “How We Got the Bible,” “Telling my Friends about Jesus,” and “God IS Real” are skillfully taught each week. Your child will be welcomed, protected and cared for in this energetic environment.
Joshua Generation Church (JGC)—This is our ministry to young people in grades 5-8. JGC is about learning to love the Lord and strengthening our relationship with Him. On Sunday mornings at 11:45am we have our FUEGO 56 (5-6 Grade) and 78 BURN (7-8 Grade) for a time of fun and drawing closer to Jesus. In JGC, young people will learn more about God and grow in their faith. We discuss topics that are important and relevant to this age group, and at the same time build Christ-like friendships. We are committed to living a Christ-like example in our schools and being a passionate group of young people who want to be used by God in our community. David and Jessica Argon are our JGC Pastors.
